June 2002 - Mike

Christmas 2002 -
For the first time in my life, I am not home for Christmas. Instead, we vacation in Puerto Plata,
Dominican Republic.

January 2003 -
Chad, Africa. This is by far the worst place either of us have ever been, and we get three wonderful
months there.

Summer 2003 - After a short holiday in Paris and a little time at home, Mike gets sent to Saudi Arabia for the summer.
I stay home for I have simple rights, like to walk by myself and drive!

Fall 2003 - After Mike finishes in Saudi, we decide to meet up in Spain for a vacation for three weeks. Project in
Jordan gets delayed so we have quick vacation there and in Cyprus before returning to Paris for 10 days to get visa's for
Brazil.

October 2003 -

December 2003 - Mike goes
to school in Anaheim, California - the first time either of us has spent time in Cally!
January 2004 -
Back to Japan for the longest project we've ever done together - six months in the land of the rising
sun! Oh, and two side trips to Bangkok to renew our visa's.

August 2004 - We get waylaid in Miami due to a strike in Boliva, so hit South Beach and Key West. Then on to La Paz,
Bolivia and a long weekend in Cusco, Peru

November, 2004 - Spent a quick Holiday in Costa Rica, got robbed, played golf,
did a tree canopy tour, pretty much ruled it out as a retirement spot for now. . . Then Mike gets a "fun" two week trip to Lahore Pakistan. Then a 3 month "vacation" of no work.
We stay home and buy a new house.
March, 2005 - Arrive in Rome, Italy, the Eternal City, for about 4
1/2 months. Quick side trip to Tunisia, as once again we are traveling on incorrect visa's!
August, 2005- We had a two week break at home to check on the house, then Mike took off to Abuja, Nigeria for another quick
trip without me, I stayed home and tended the garden!
September, 2005 -Phnom Penh, Cambodia

2006 - Hanging with the Sultan in Bandar Seri Begawan,
Brunei, with a few side trips to various states of Malaysia for beer purposes. . . Labuan, Kuala Luara and Kota Kinabalu.
March 2006
- Quick one week trip to Bali, Indonesia. Just missed the
incoming cyclone, and per all Stout vacations recently, saw our share of rain!
May 2006 -
Spent about four weeks at home, Mike went to Alabama for some schooling, then
we were off to Tirane, Albania

June/July
2006 - Back in Thailand for a little R & R, four days in Bangkok, 6
in Karon Beach, Phuket. Then back to Cambodia for about 6 weeks.

August-November
2006 - Mike leaves on the 28th for lovely Papau New Guinea, supposedly
for just seven short weeks, but it turned into 12!!! So, I was in GR and Mike was in Guinea. . . not ideal

July - November, 2007 -Tel Aviv, Israel, with jaunts all around the country!
January, 2008 - Mike
goes to Mali, Africa (home of Timbuktu, I'm not kidding!) for two weeks. I stay home and shovel snow.
March, 2008 - October, 2008-Beijing, China.
Much longer trip than anticipated!
